Featured in Elle Décor, House Beautiful and Lonny Magazine as a master of the mix, Jamie Meares is an inveterate dabbler — her go-to answer is “I’ll try anything once.”
It’s her eccentric take on tradition that makes Meares a sought-after trendsetter.
In 2009, as an extension of her popular lifestyle blog I Suwannee, Meares opened Furbish Studio, a charming light-filled shop in Raleigh, North Carolina. At the insistence of design-lovers worldwide, Furbish Studio expanded to include online shopping and began creating an eponymous line of home accessories that embody the brand’s daring mix of southern tradition with bohemian wanderlust.
Furbish’s flagship in downtown Raleigh has become a mecca for design-lovers and trendsetters across the country. With her products and decorating projects regularly featured in top magazines and blogs, Meares continues to build momentum as a design-darling of the South.
Named the ‘Blog to Watch in 2015’ by Southern Living Magazine, Jamie is available for speaking engagements, event styling, publicity appearances, and for collaboration on in-store events, editorial content, brand representation and fashion campaigns.
